Located near Bethany Beach, Nomad Family Charters specializes in family nature and fishing trips in the bays and shores of Delaware.  Our trips are designed to teach families in a fun way about the bay and ocean habitats through active learning including, crabbing, clamming, fishing, bird watching and catching other marine life.

In addition to bay activities, we have fantastic wreck fishing off the coast.  Captain Chris works with all skill levels of fisherman from beginners to experts.  Depending on the season, Rockfish, Bluefish, Flounder, SeaBass, Tautog, Cutlass fish and other species are plentiful.

Captain Chris is passionate about his home waters and and believes the best way to learn is through fun, hands-on engagement.   He was highly involved in youth activities with his own children and has a natural ability to make learning fun.

The Nomad is a  23’ Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman.  It’s a center console boat specifically designed for light tackle and fly fishing in Bays and Nearshore.  They are very popular with guides for their smooth ride, open layout and robust construction.
